Another Attack

Don’t you hate it when your boss finds something you looked for diligently and couldn’t find? I work in a small bank. We only have 3 tellers, four if we are extremely busy. All three of us searched high and low for that receipt and didn’t find it.

 

A few hours later, the head teller was balancing the vault and couldn’t find the envelope she had just used to balance. Of course, I told her that she was the Alien’s next victim, but she did find it a few moments later.  The boss asked who was back and then came back behind the teller line to see if she could see the receipt. It took her about 5 seconds to find it between a couple envelopes…..probably the only place no one looked or thought to look.

 

It’s a strong relief to know it was not aliens.  I was getting worried for awhile there….
